AIRPORTS OF REGIONS, which is part of the RENOVA GROUP, selected ALSTEF Russia to supply the new Rostov-on-Don International Airport in Russia with a complete Baggage Sorting System.
Rostov-on-Don Airport will replace the airport currently located downtown, which offered no possibility of expansion. Located at about 30 kilometers from the current airport, it will become operational by the end of 2017, in time to accommodate the supporters of the 2018 Football World Cup. In the long term, it is expected to welcome up to 5 million passengers annually.
